In ordert to awaken to new life and show itself in all of it's splendor. Every artwork is an image of this journey. Hours, days, weeks, months and years of experimentation, frustration, development, passion and pure joy. A heart piece. A fingerprint of a moment of my life. Free. A part of my soul.“
I developed the style of my works within many years of experimentation. Different techniques and materials merge into emotional artworks. The basis are different acrylic paints/-sprays and glues as well as various natural materials. I'm not a brush painter. Rather I paint with everything that comes to my hands and „feels right“ in the particular artistic flow as far as my own hands and feet. My creative process feels to me like a free firework where there are no borders of pouring, painting, splashing and spraying and the canvases as well as myself, mostly starting on the ground, find the most diverse three dimensional positions in my studio in order to achieve the desired effect or color flow.
I do not give names to my artworks because I want them to be free. And at the same time I want everyone who looks at them to be free to feel about it what he or she feels personally and individually. Free unbiased emotion. Absolutely independent of what I felt when I created it.
Because to me art is freedom. Individuality. As well as pure feelings. And it fills me with ultimate joy, awe and gratitude at the same time, if I can touch or help other people with my art. If they can „feel“, which is displaced so often in today's everyday life by „doing your job – function“. If they can connect to their inner soul. A moment for themselves. Emotional, inspiring and grounding at the same time. A moment that brings them further or also back to their individual path. A connection to their inner light and strength.
I'm a fairytale teller. When I write a song, time stands still. I am completely with myself. And if my songs can make the world stand still for other people as well, stop this fast time, this untiring flow of everyday life, that makes me thankful and happy. My music is I time. Time for feelings. Time to listen to yourself. To feel. To connect to our innermost – our soul. Our roots. Our light.
I love the reduced combination of voice and one single instrument. Such as piano on my German ballad album „Zauberwelt“. „Pure and simple – no masket ball“. Pure, real, honest feelings.
Artist + triple mom = ART children's book
With the sentence „Once upon a time there was a fatigue“ and the vision to write „a completely different children's book“, I startet to create my ART children's book „ODD wants to dance“.
I wanted to write a book that is unique. Something new. Something „worth“-full. That inspires and entertains children but at the same time really gives something to them for their lives: A feeling for ART in word and vision, creativity, inspiration, fantasy, positive messages and, very importantly, values.
At first there was the story. An exciting, imaginative, multicolored story. Literary demanding, poetic. As partners for the abstract art illustrations i got on board 3 of the most creative people i know: my children. So an idea became a wonderful heart project „from family for family“. With the mission: „Bringing ART to the children's rooms“.
